A new drawing! *wishes for time to do more* This is yet another stipple style pen drawing, featuring my usual various myths 'n stuff randomness. (This one is largely 'pagan' influenced.) It started as a white sheet of A4 paper and has undergone tea-ageing treatment and candle singeing! This is my best attempt at scaning it-the white it's on is A4 sized so you can see that some serious singeing has taken place! I think the pentacle was the hardest to draw-compass and protracter...all from scratch...oo er!
my goodness! First off: that's some fantastic detail! The aging/singing is awesome - I'm impressed with how much you burnt away to make it look that good. Apart from the overall generally stunning detail, I really like the moon-esque shapes under the leavy face. I like the way they are not absolutely drawn-by-a-computer-perfect; it gives the art a definate 'real' aspect that is quite powerful. I definately fave to this...
cool. pentacle is a difficult one to draw from the beginning, i even forgot the procedure...did it last time in primary school so it's a looong time ago. beautiful work
Thanks! The way I did it was to measure and mark 72 degrees five times around the circle...well, something like that! Thank you for adding it to your favourites!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
